It's been over a year since I posted anything on this journal. I've still been stalking my watchlist, occasionally leaving a comment or adding a favourite. The truth is, this last year has been a busy one. I've still been doodling in my spare time, but there's not really anything worthy of a post lying around waiting to be uploaded. Since getting back from Japan in the summer, I've started my final year of university. It's a crazy time and there's more work than ever before and less and less time for leisure. That means that art and gaming have both taken a bit of a back seat lately. The only thing I have time for is music, my other main pas

It's an unusual Christmas this year for sure. Japan does little to mark the event and there's not much festive cheer. It's even a little lonely spending the holiday season half way around the world from the rest of the family, with the gf staying with hers in Hokkaido. Gackt is where this whole thing began, and now I have a strange feeling of nostalgia. Watching his Kagen no Tsuki DVD again reminded me of why I started studying Japanese, and on Monday I will finally be flying out there for the first time. A year in Tokyo lies ahead, and I'm both excited and nervous. It's a big journey and an important year, but I have high hopes that it will be successful. My Japanese isn't really where I want it to be right now, but it'll do; and being surrounded by it every day will surely only be beneficial for my studies. I want to make the most of this opportunity and come back for my final year with a renewed passion

I wanted to make your day!
I love how you can make even the most complicated works still look complicated but in a non-threatening way. How you can keep it that way is far beyond me
Thanks, that little picture is great ^^
